It also has a bus station.
https://www.weardale-travel.co.uk/service-773.html
If I was to guess, I would say that Thursday is Consett market day and the additional bus runs to get pensioners back to the villages. The timings look right for it to be something along those lines. The first and last buses run five days a week.

I don't think I have ever bumped into Poolies on a train to or from London. Probably and advantage of the Grand Central Blunderland bog carts not stopping at Doncaster and my choosing to avoid the inevitable inferno in any case. Quite often he just helps me mop up newbies around Yorks, and of course, pubwise they are no substitute for long standing classics like the Globe and Billingham Catholic Club are they? Someone asked me if I'd done Yorkshire Ales in Snaith yet. Where does it go from?

Yes, on the London trains if I ever have the misfortune to bump into Hartlepool fans they are always some of the scummiest. And when we had that Auto Windscreens penalty shootout up there, they scared me on the way back to the car! Ugh. Darlo fans I've never really noticed existing! The challenge will be doing the pub in 28 minutes bus stop to bus stop, whilst complying with the 25 minutes actualy in the pub, whilst the bus goes to Townfield and back to avoid waiting for the next one.

I always hated Hartlepool United, still do in fact and I don't really know why. Never really bothered about Darlo, even so they should be one of our most hated clubs for harbouring the four traitors and for Barry Conlon. It makes sense therefore that you should have no soft spot for the town of Hartlepool

Tom Irvinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00963891586230251906noreply@blogger.com
