Eskdale is my favour...Well done! Tremendous walk. <br /><br />Eskdale is my favourite part of the Lake District, and my favourite pub is the one you dissed the most, the Brook House Inn. The beer is always in good nick there and they do a couple of really good vegan meals. I have usually found the service friendly and helpful. The distorted tables used to have place mats careful designed to cope with the uneven surfaces. What a laugh, eh.<br /><br />Whereas I never really liked the Strands - partly because their flagship beer was called Ermmm!
